Overview
The Advisory Council for Innovation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emerging Technology (the “Council”) is a strategic advisory body convened by the Marine Corps University Foundation (the “Foundation”) to accelerate Marine Corps University’s education efforts in innovation, artificial intelligence, and advanced technology. The Council’s purpose is to provide strategic guidance, specialized industry knowledge, and innovative perspectives to university leadership, helping to ensure the Marine Corps remains at the forefront of AI applications, technological innovation, Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO), and integrated deterrence.
Mission
The Council’s mission is to advise and support Marine Corps University (MCU) faculty and staff to educate the next generation of MCU students on leveraging and employing AI and advanced technologies in complex, multi-domain environments. Through collaboration with the Council, military leaders, academia, and the private sector will identify emerging trends, develop research partnerships, and create experiential education opportunities for military professionals in the JADO program, International Military Student Next (IMS Next) program, and beyond.
