As an inventor awarded 44 U.S. patents, Lee revolutionized commercial supply chain logistics by developing the interactive beverage fountain dispenser. Licensed to global enterprises including the Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo, and Berkshire Hathaway (Cornelius), this technology is deployed in over 400,000 locations worldwide. This innovation pioneered large-scale IoT edge deployment, transforming physical distribution networks into nodes for real-time consumer data collection and automated inventory logistics.
Corporate & Military Leadership
Lee served for 20 years in executive leadership at Pepsi MidAmerica—one of the nation’s largest privately held beverage franchises—including 10 years as President, managing complex manufacturing, sales, and heavy distribution networks.
A former Marine Corps Captain, Lee was selected by LtGen McKissock to serve as the Officer-in-Charge of the newly established Command Information Center at the 1st FSSG. In this role, he commanded the testing of experimental expeditionary logistics methodologies, earning the Meritorious Service Medal.
