Mariah Smith is the Vice President of Federal Operations for Accrete. She joined the Accrete Government team in 2021 after a twenty year career in the Army. While in the Army she served as a military police officer and a Congressional liaison. She was a platoon leader in the initial invasion into Iraq in 2003, did three tours in Afghanistan between 2007-2014, and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. In her spare time she serves on the Board of Directors for No One Left Behind, a national non-profit that assists our wartime allies from Iraq and Afghanistan. Immediately prior to joining Accrete, she was involved in the evacuation efforts for Afghan translators during the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. She is a council member for her hometown of Stephens City, where she lives on her farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
