Scott Buttz is the Chief Executive Officer of Easy Ice, North America’s leading provider of commercial ice machine subscription and service solutions. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience building and scaling service-based organizations across Fortune 500 companies and private equity-backed platforms, with a consistent focus on operational excellence, disciplined growth, and strong organizational culture.

Scott has extensive experience leading high-velocity buy-and-build platforms in essential service industries, partnering closely with private equity sponsors, boards of directors, and executive teams to drive enterprise value creation. His leadership combines strategic clarity with operational rigor, emphasizing scalable systems, strong leadership teams, and a culture of trust, accountability and performance. His leadership has helped companies achieve prestigious recognitions such as Federal OSHA VPP Star, Fortune’s Most Admired Companies, and certifications as a Great Place to Work in the U.S.; honors reflecting his commitment to integrity, safety, engagement, continuous improvement, and performance excellence.

Prior to joining Easy Ice, Scott served as Chief Executive Officer of WagWay Group, where he led the development and scaling of a national, multi-brand pet health and wellness platform through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. He’s served as the Interim-CEO leading intense transformation and acceleration strategies at Spotless Brands, a leading national express car wash platform, and Oasis Marinas, a national marina ownership, management and services platform. He served as the President of Regency Pet Services, where he led the company through a period of rapid expansion and strategic transformation, ultimately leading the successful merger of the top two industry platforms.

Scott previously held senior operational leadership roles at Towne Park, a national hospitality and healthcare services company sponsored by TA Associates, where he served as Senior Vice President of Operations overseeing large, distributed service organizations across North America. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at Cintas Corporation, a Fortune 500 provider of essential workplace services, advancing through progressive P&L/operational leadership roles in both domestic and international assignments. Additionally, and as a collateral duty, he served as a Corporate Faculty Member leading as the platform instructor for the Company’s professional development seminars on Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Execution, and Corporate Culture.

Throughout his career, Scott has worked closely with private equity sponsors and governance bodies, serving on the Board of Directors for Regency Pet Services, Oasis Marinas, Spotless Brands, WagWay Group, Foundation Partners Group, and Easy Ice, where he contributed to strategic oversight, operational scaling, and enterprise value creation initiatives.

Before entering the private sector, Scott served in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting as an Infantryman in the USMC Reserve while attending Indiana University, followed by his commissioning and assignment as a Ground Intelligence Officer after graduation. During his military career he held a range of leadership billets including Battalion Operations Officer, Company Commander, Scout Sniper Platoon Commander, Rifle Platoon Commander, and Intelligence Collection Officer, with assignments in the Fleet Marine Forces, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, and the Marine Corps Combat Development Command. The leadership principles developed during his military service continue to shape his mission-driven, team-focused, character-first leadership philosophy.

Scott is also deeply committed to education, veteran support, and community leadership. He founded the Elaine Nancy Buttz Memorial Scholarship Foundation in honor of his mother, a lifelong educator, with the mission of supporting high school graduates as they pursue careers in education, now in its 27th year.

He has also served on non-profit boards, including Special Olympics Maryland, Regency Relief (Education-focused 501(c)3) and The Foundation (Education-focused 501(c)3), and actively supports veteran-focused organizations including the Semper Fi Fund and Team Red, White & Blue. In addition, Scott and his family serve as a Midshipman Sponsor Family for the United States Naval Academy, supporting midshipmen during their assignment to the Academy.

Scott, his wife Jennifer, and 17-yr old son, Mason, reside in Davidsonville, Maryland and are active members of Riva Trace Baptist Church.
