January Quatrefoil Society Event Features Admiral Winnefeld as Guest of Honor

Members of the Quatrefoil Society gathered at the Clubs of Quantico on 14 January for an engaging evening of conversation, reflection, and community building. Quatrefoil Society is an organization for Expeditionary Warfare School students, faculty and staff members.
The evening began with a warm welcome from the Society’s president, followed by dinner. During this time, the guest of honor, Admiral James A. Winnefeld Jr., offered opening remarks that set the tone for a thoughtful and candid exchange.
Admiral Winnefeld is a retired U.S. Navy four-star admiral who previously served as the ninth Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Over a distinguished career, he held numerous senior leadership positions, including command at sea and key roles shaping national security strategy and joint military operations. Drawing on this experience, he engaged participants in a wide-ranging discussion and question-and-answer session that sparked meaningful dialogue and reflection.
The evening concluded with closing comments and toasts, leaving attendees energized and appreciative of the opportunity to connect, learn, and strengthen the EWS community through shared ideas and experiences.
