Bob Parsons Receives Semper Fidelis Award

We had an extraordinary evening honoring Bob Parsons on March 28, 2026, at our Black-Tie Annual Semper Fidelis Award Ceremony and Dinner. The prestigious Semper Fidelis Award is presented annually by Marine Corps University Foundation to noteworthy Americans whose lives reflect exceptional service, leadership, and commitment to others
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and founder of GoDaddy, Mr. Parsons exemplifies resilience, entrepreneurial vision, and a lifelong dedication to giving back. From his service as a combat Marine in Vietnam to building one of the world’s most recognized technology companies, his journey reflects the very spirit of the Semper Fidelis Award—“Always Faithful.”
Mr. Parsons served as an 0311 rifleman and was awarded the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He has often said that the Marine Corps deserves credit for everything he has ever accomplished, a testament to the lasting impact of his service.
Beyond his business success, Parsons has demonstrated a deep commitment to philanthropy. In 2012, he and his wife, Renee, founded the Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, which provides transformational grants supporting underserved communities, including initiatives focused on homelessness, healthcare, youth, education, and veterans and military families.
Many congratulations to Bob Parsons.
